Plant Characteristics :
Habit : Undershrub
Habitat & Ecology : Terrestrial, Wild, found along roadsides, dykes and in wastelands.
Occurrence : Through out West Bengal

Status : Common
Botanical Character : Under shrub, branches stellate hairy, tomentose and sometimes with short hairs. Leaves simple, rounded, cordate, acute-acuminate, irregularly serrate or serrate-dentate, surface rough with closely feltd white hair, base 7- nerved, stipules deflexed. Flowers solitary, axillary, epicalyx absent. Calyx lobes ovate, puberulous. Corolla orange yellow, ~2.5 cm in diameter, opening in the evening. Carpels 15-20, hairy. Seeds dark brown, reniform.
