Plant Characteristics :
Habit : Woody climbing shrub
Habitat & Ecology : Terrestrial Common in dry mixed and scrub forests or places forming pure stands.,
Occurrence : Available in the hotter parts of south- west Bengal

Status : Infrequent
Botanical Character : A stout, climbing shrub with numerous small, hooked prickles. Leaves small, imparipinnate, main rachis having sharp, hooked prickles and with a large gland on or below the petiole and one between the two uppermost pairs of pinnae. Pinnae 8 or more, leaflets subsessile, linear, acute or mucronate, glabrous. Flowers white, in globose head, small, polygamous, bracts oblique, membranous. Calyx funnel-shaped. Pods short-stalked, flat, coriaceous. Seeds 6-10 per pod.
