Plant Characteristics :
Habit : Shrubby climber
Habitat & Ecology : Wild, sometmes planted in gardens.,
Occurrence : Wild, occasionally found in greater parts of the state, ascending up to 1200m.

Botanical Character : Profusely branched climber, branches slender. Leaves compound, alternate abruptly pinnate, leaflets 12 – 20 pairs, opposite, sub-sessile, linear-oblong, both ends obtuse, glabrous above; lower pairs smaller. Flowers small, in axillary many flowered racemes, bracteate, corolla whitish pink ; stamens 9, monadelphous. Pod silky pubescent with a narrow deflexed beak, 4- 6 cm by 1.5- 2.0 cm. Seeds 3- 7, subglobose, bright scarlet with a terminal black spot.
