Status : Abundant in the area.
Botanical Character : An aromatic shrub, often forming thickets, softly hairy; branches gradually smaller upwards. Leaves long, deeply dissected; normally vary from very lobulate, like those of the garden chrysanthemum, to pinnatifidly 2-3-sect (but are more entire than those of Artemisia vulgaris) and from green or hoary on both surfaces to thickly clothed with white or buff, tomentose beneath or on both surfaces. The heads, too, vary greatly in number, disposition, size and form, from globose to ovoid, and from sessile to pedicelled. Flowers reddish brown, nodding. Fruits nutlets.
