Plant Characteristics :
Habit : Perennial prostrate herb with runners
Habitat & Ecology : Wild; grows on hills above 1300m, mostly in shady and moist places, like shola floor, stream banks and on rotten wood.,
Occurrence : Occurs in the Darjeeling Himalaya upto 2500m.

Status : Common
Botanical Character : A small much branched prostrate herb, sometimes having short erect branches; branches pubescent, rooting at nodes. Leaves pubescent or glabrous, lamina roundish, 3-7 cm in diam., shortly hairy above, cordate, crenate, lobed to the middle, petiole laxly pubescent. Peduncles long, lower solitary, leaf-opposed, upper often clustered. Flower head stalked, one in each node. Umbels many-flowered; bracts minute lanceolate scales among the pedicels ; pedicels glabrous. Fruits laterally compressed, orbicular or subquadrate; seeds minute, laterally compressed.
